About me: Born 1961, living in Taufkirchen near Munich, I started with wildlife photography in 1988 My photo expeditions brought me to all continents of the world My special interest are the African and North American big mammals as well as waterfowls. Nevertheless I deal intensively with landscapes and plants. As I painted watercolour paintings before starting with photography, I prefer an artistic creative style of photography. I work intensively especially with defocusing, zoom lens, movement and out of focus effects. My photos are distributed world-wide by the most well-known photo agencies. Every year my best photos award prizes in the competitions of the Society of German Wildlife Photographers GDT and at the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year. I am member of the Society of German Wildlife Photographers GDT and the North American NANPA.
